Ships and yachts present their own range of environmental problems. Something
that works well when hung on the wall of an office may well have problems when
subjected to the motion, vibration and environmental conditions found on board a
ship or yacht.
Links to the outside world will vary greatly in cost, quality and
availability. Satellite communication is universally available but expensive.
Cellular systems vary throughout the world and dockside landlines may or may not
be available. The ship's system therefore has to be versatile and well
documented, so that the crew have the ability to reconfigure the system to use
the available links in an effective and cost-efficient manner.
Telecall has experience in providing installations on Passenger Ships, Naval
Auxiliaries and private yachts. We will be happy to talk through your
requirements, offer advice and provide a quotation that suits your needs.
