Print and publishing have specialist needs. Machine rooms are noisy places which present their own problems. Work is usually to tight deadlines and production issues can arise that require quick decisions, fast and effective communication.   On the data side very large files have to be manipulated, requiring a high level of performance and reliability from the data network. ISDN dial-up is often used to transmit these files between customers, pre-press and the press room itself.

Our telephone systems integrate voice and data allowing you to maximise the cost effective use of resources. There is no need to provide separate ISDN lines for data, we provide you with ISDN extensions to connect directly to your terminal equipment, complete with their own direct-dial phone numbers.

Data and telephone traffic travels over a common transmission network using copper and fibre optic cables.

For noisy environments we can provide extra-loud sounders or flashing strobe lights so that staff working on machinery will know that a phone is ringing and can enter a sound-proofed are to take the call. Alternatively we can provide  mobile handsets that incorporate a vibrating alert to perform the same function.
