Panasonic Phone Assistant

Phone Assistant is a productivity tool for the KX-TDA and KX-TDE 100/200/600 systems. A similar tool called Communications Assistant is available for the Network Communications Platform (NCP) systems.

Phone Assistant consists of server software that runs on a network PC and client software running on the user's PC. It allows the user's PC to interact with the phone system so he can dial numbers displayed on his screen, handle calls, see the status of other team members, and have callers' database records automatically displayed for incoming calls. It can also automatically display images from remote cameras, e.g. to allow the user to see who's at the door and let them in or for security monitoring. Images and video can be viewed on demand or triggered automatically by sensors, e.g. when someone presses the doorbell, opens a door, or passes a sensor. This can be useful for monitoring entry into secure areas such as storerooms or server rooms or to monitor hidden areas such as a car park.

Phone Assistant is a productivity enhancement allowing control of your phone and phone system from your PC screen. Three versions are available:-

 

VERSIONS

PA Express

PA Express let you make, receive and transfer calls using your PC screen. It includes a presence display so that you can see the status of other users and a phonebook for your contacts. You can set up "point and click" presets to do things like diverting your calls to voicemail and you can even monitor a network video camera allowing you to monitor secure areas or see who is at the door. It keeps a record of your call history and missed calls, and allows you to make notes against calls.

PA Status Express

Designed for supervisors, PA Status Express adds the ability for a Supervisor to monitor a call, barge into a conversation, or take over a call, making it ideal for staff training or for assisting staff who need help dealing with difficult calls. Supervisors can view the call history of all of their team members.

PA Manager Express

PA Manager Express adds the ability to manage your phone system or systems. It is a web-based tool that enables you to perform common maintenance tasks, such as changing extension names, system and personal speed dial numbers and names, absence messages etc.
