Networking

The KX-TDA range of telephone systems can be networked in a variety of ways, either to link remote sites, or to expand the capacity of a system.

IP (Internet Protocol) Networking

IP networking allows you to mix voice and data seamlessly over a common link. The normal method for remote sites is to set up a secure IPSec network with routers at all sites. This allows computers to access resources anywhere on your Wide Area Network and also allows telephony to work simuiltaneously over the same links.

Legacy Networking

As well as using advanced IP networking the KX-TDA range can use legacy networking systems to connect to sites equipped with legacy systems having less advanced networking capability. These networking systems include:-

QSIG over ISDN

SSAC15 Analogue Networking

SSDC5 (E+M) Analogue Networking
