Saving on Call Charges

Deregulation of the UK Telecoms market has brought a lot of competition, and a lot of confusion.

We provide a simple answer.  We will take care of it for you. We have our own telephone service, with very competitive call charges. You need do nothing. It works over your normal BT lines. There are no upfront or recurring charges.  All you pay us for is your call charges, and you receive valuable management reports free! For more information read on or for full details of our current tariffs call us free on 0800 018 0525.

Example for a 2 minute UK National Landline call during the business day:-

  Call set-up fee Pence
per Minute
2 min call cost
BT Base Rate 0 8p 16p
BT Business Plan 2p 2.7p 7.4p
Telecall 0 1.8p 3.6p

Prices shown exclude VAT. "BT Base Rate" is BT's price for the call where no discount scheme is applied. BT Business Plan price is based on an annual committed spend on qualifying calls of between £750 and £5000 with a minimum contact of one year and is subject to charges for early termination or a failure to meet the spend target. Prices obtained from www.bt.com on 29/10/2006

Many large utilities have found that they have moved away from their core activity. For example, you might expect the core activity of British Gas to be the production of Gas. It's not. Distribution, sales and customer servicing costs them far more than actually producing the stuff. Wholesaling gas to other companies who take care of sales and customer services is attractive and releases resources for their core activity.

A similar revolution has happened in Telecoms. The piece of wire connecting you to your local exchange is the simplest part of the telephone network. The clever part is in the connections between exchanges, where expensive resources such as satellite links, long distance cables and fibre optics are shared between many thousands of users. Many companies have moved into the market, establishing their own long distance links using new technology to drive costs down. Their core business is in running their networks and they sell capacity to us in bulk. By negotiating the spend of ALL of our customers between the different carriers we are able to negotiate very competitive prices and pass the savings on to you.

The carrier that allows you to choose between the most networks for your call traffic is BT and we therefore recommend that you use them to provide your lines. As a BT reseller we can take care of all of this for you, ordering lines on your behalf and managing their installation.

Saving on calls to Mobile Phones

Calls between mobiles are considerably cheaper than calls between mobiles and land lines. All of our phone systems allow a radio connection directly into the major mobile networks to save you money on call costs typically reducing charges by about one third..

Preventing misuse and increasing efficiency

Call analysis packages enable you to monitor your system for maximum efficiency. Calls to friends mobiles or premium rate services can result in high costs. All of our phone systems have call barring capabilities to prevent calls to unauthorised destinations but for maximum effectiveness we recommend a Call Analysis package. Records of all calls in and out of the phone system are stored on a Personal Computer and can be analysed and reported on to identify problems. Click here for more information.
