Call ManagementMost modern telephone systems can create a record of every call, outgoing and incoming. Typically this is output from a system serial port and can be printed on a suitably configured serial printer, however it creates masses of data which it is difficult to analyse. It is possible instead to take the call records and store them on disk for later analysis to give important management information. This can highlight problem areas, such as delays in answering incoming calls or the making of unduly lengthy or unauthorised calls.
