Balloons

Balloons are generally flown in the early morning or evening. So filtering out NOTAM which fall outside the proposed flying times would be an advantage.

Aerodrome briefing not required.

The area of interest will be downwind of the launch site. A rectangle with its long axis aligned in the wind direction and the launch point at the centre of one short edge would be suitable.

A graphical presentation would greatly help in the selection of a launch site, otherwise a briefing would be required for each potential launch site to find which one offers the least restrictions.
