Information on downtime is based on reports from users and from automatic monitoring which started on 20 Oct 2002.

21 Feb 2003 Addition of a number of aviation sites without ICAO codes to the database. These sites have been given dummy ICAO codes beginning "X". Full listing at http://www.ais.org.uk/aes/en/image/oad.pdf
18 Feb 2003 User reports AIS site down. Out from some time after 19:00 on 17/2 and did not come live until around 11:00 on 18/2.
24 Jan 2003 AIS site down. Not responding to the domain name www.ais.org .uk but can still be found at  http://195.217.206.162
5 Jan 2003 User reports AIS site "busy or not responding".
28 Dec 2002 User reports AIS site down
3 Nov 2002 Automatic monitoring reports 7 hrs 8 mins of downtime.

20 Oct 2002 Automatic monitoring reports AES down at 02:24 until 05:02  and at 07:05 to 08:05 and at 14:30 to 16:57 and at 18:59 to 20:07 and at 21:13 to 21:32 (all times GMT)
17 October 2002 AES down at 18:30 local. Briefing staff unaware. Engineers "Looking into it". Down for approx 20 mins.

10/11 October 2002 AES down - Due to a power cut and loss of a UPS which have resulted in the replica server failing
4 October 2002 AES reported not working
21 September 2002 AES reported not working
9 September 2002 AES reported not working
19 August 2002 AES goes live
6 August 2002 ADIMS goes live
30 May 2002 AIC 54/2002 issued advising of the introduction of ADIMS
